&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;John Rafman - &lt;em&gt;The Nine Eyes of Google Street View &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Aptly titled after the 9 cameras that document our towns, cities and villages for the purposes of Google Maps; John Rafmans’ work picks out the scenes Google perhaps were not counting on collecting. This source of imagery has proved fruitful for other artists, perhaps notably - &lt;a href="http://mishka.lockandhenner.com/blog/?cat=37" target="_blank"&gt;Mishka Henner&lt;/a&gt;, whose trawling of the site drew together images of prostitutes from around the world. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Rafman’s series also features scenes of oblivious prositutes; however, it also includes many other scenarios of everyday life that provide an unsuspecting insight into what goes on when we believe no one is watching. As a result, we see sights that make us smile, confuse us and astound. The autonomy of the original ‘see-er’ and the unquestioned availability of such images to anyone with acess to the interenet, calls into question the never ending debates regarding privacy and surviellance. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The more light-hearted images help to balance out some of those with more questionable content. We are forced to acknowledge that at the end of the day, these are images of everyday life, and everyday occurances that are going on all around us. Rafmans filtering of the extensive database of imagery allows us to share in the act of voyeur, viewing scenes from around the world through a filter of seeming disbelief at the knowledge of their origins. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Matthew Brandt continues his experimentation in photography with recent project - ‘Lakes and Reservoirs.’&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The premise underwhich this project functions, acts to juxtapose the ‘real’ and what we see. Brandt has carefully controlled and created a unique method of production which has allowed the creation of a series of intriguing and engaging images.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We perhaps first notice the prominence of degredation within the images, which through the striking colours produced creates a certain level of aesthetic enticement. Looking further into the images we see the meticulous approach to composition Brandt has taken with each location. Beautiful lakes and mountain scapes fall in and out of frame in accordance to the classic rule of thirds, and other such ‘classic’ composition techniques.Nevertheless in the treatment of the C-Print afterwards, these images are quickly transported away from the typical glossy-calendar-scene image.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To create these effects, the photographer collected water from each lake or reservoir he photographed. Which was then used to soak the print for a given period of time - the effects of which we can see in the images above. It is the specific process that enhances a visual interaction between notions of representation and the real, the location itself and what we are shown. &lt;/p&gt;

Una giornata rilassata per imparare a rilegare a mano in tanti modi diversi e ad autoprodurre quaderni che poi diventeranno rubriche, diari segreti, libretti di ricette, blocchi per appunti o quel che vi pare. Due date a disposizione tra cui scegliere il giorno più comodo. Quattro scatenati sperimentatori delle rilegature più ardite. Una caterva di carte, cartoni, cartoncini da cui attingere a piene mani. Ciascun partecipante è però invitato a recuperare qualunque materiale adatto ad essere trasformato in quaderni: fogli stampati da un lato solo, vecchie tavole di laboratori ormai passati, vecchi appunti (se scritti a matita meglio), riviste (per recuperare qualche margine bianco per quaderni mignon o foto a tutta pagina e pattern interessanti), vecchie magliette o vecchie calze da buttare via, pezzette acchiappacolore usate per il bucato che si tingono dei colori più strani, confezioni di cartone di qualsiasi cosa, nastri e carte stropicciate dei regali natalizi, carte napoletane e da poker, vecchia lana, fili spessi… ognuno potrà portare a casa i propri quaderni autoprodotti.

Piazza Regina Margherita, Roma&lt;/font&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;L’allestimento rappresenta la “stanza” di lavoro del progettista. Viene ricreato un ambiente accogliente e familiare nello spazio urbano. Chiacchieri? Progetti? Scambi? Ascolti?&lt;br/&gt;
PARTECIPA.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

Attraverso questa azione intendiamo ridare visibilità ai progettisti italiani, creando un network dove si possa aprire un confronto, inoltre lo scopo finale è quello di stabilire un contatto con il pubblico per le strade della capitale, comunicare.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

Oggi, è diventato semplice appropriarsi di uno spazio virtuale. Al contrario diventa sempre più complicato e difficile riprendere e vivere in armonia con degli spazi reali, urbani, cittadini. Sperimentando nella città e con la città.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

Vogliamo peraltro dimostrare alle giovani generazioni di progettisti che è possibile (ri)prendersi degli spazi nello scenario cittadino. Offrire un esempio al pubblico di quanto sia importante partecipare attivamente alla vita cittadina.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

Ci proponiamo di esprimere cultura e di suscitare interesse da parte dei passanti, che troppo spesso vedono la città come un ambiente esclusivamente di passaggio, arrivando spesso a percepire l’ambiente urbano come ostile.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;

«I invited people I did not know to my studio to lie on-top of me.  I photographed a roll of film with a medium-format camera (10 frames), choosing one frame as the final image.  The resulting photograph is presented vertically (in the traditional portrait format), thus shifting the viewer’s perception of gravity and emphasizing a magnetic contact. «As the name Bacteriograms implies, this series is closer to photograms than photographs. These images are made without a camera, by cultivating bacteria on the gelatin surface of the negatives, using a similar process as the one used in laboratories to grow bacteria on agar in petri dishes. With 
this work I want to raise questions about representation and reality; the 
nature and the place of photographic medium in contemporary society.  
I have gathered the bacteria samples from my own body. The bacteria 
consumed the film surface producing photographic images that are entirely 
created by a chance. I have been removed from the process but, at the
